Move V is operated by SYNC LC, a Michigan limited liability company (Sync), 13135 Pine Island Dr NE, Sparta, MI 49345, syncgr.com. This policy covers the Move V website, the creator studio, and the Move V apps on phones, Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, LG and Samsung TVs, and Roku.
What we collect
Your email address and a password hash when you create an account. Watch progress, saved titles, and ratings, so the service works across your devices. A device identifier on devices without an account, which counts the free previews. When you sign a TV in with a code from your phone, we record which device is linked to your account so you can sign it out later. The site and apps keep you signed in with a session token stored on your device; we set no advertising cookies. If you create an account through our Samsung TV signup link, we also record Samsung as the signup source for distribution accounting. This is not an advertising identifier.
Playback and usage data
The apps record which titles you browse and play, and how far you watch. We use this to resume playback, build the Continue Watching row, pay creators their share of watch time, and understand which films find an audience. If your browser sends Do Not Track, we honor it for analytics; functional data such as watch progress still syncs to your account.
Where your data goes
Stripe processes payments made on the web and in the phone apps; card numbers never touch our servers. Subscriptions bought on a Roku are billed by Roku Pay under Roku's own privacy policy, and Roku sends us only what we need to unlock your plan. Amazon Web Services hosts the service in the United States. The phone and TV apps check for updates through Expo and send the app version and platform. Account messages such as sign-in codes and password resets go out through an email delivery service. Each of these processes data only on our instructions and for these purposes. We give Samsung aggregate active-user and subscription-revenue reports by territory for its distribution agreement. We do not include your email address or watch history in those reports. Stripe retains the signup source with the subscription for accounting.
What we never do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. There are no third-party ad trackers in the apps. Content reports filed through the report form keep the details you submit, including your contact details if you choose to leave them, for the review record.
Children
Move V is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data, correct it, export it, or delete it, and we answer within 30 days. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law. Residents of the EU and UK have the same rights under their own law, and may raise a complaint with their data protection authority.
Retention and deletion
Account data stays while your account is open. Delete your account and its data from your account page, or email info@syncgr.com from your account address. Deletion removes your watch history, saved titles, ratings, and linked devices, and closes any open subscription. Records we must keep for tax or fraud purposes, and usage analytics kept in aggregate form, remain.
Security
Connections use TLS. Passwords are stored as hashes, never in the clear. Streams are served through signed, expiring URLs. Access to account data is limited to the people who run the service.
